Brazilian superstar Neymar has fuelled talk he could reunite with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami after splashing out on land in Florida.

  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Neymar has spent an eye-watering $26 million (£20m) on a "piece of waterfront land" in Florida, according to the Wall Street Journal. The move will fuel talk that Neymar is set to reunite with former Barcelona and PSG team-mate Lionel Messi at Inter Miami as the Brazilian's purchase includes "approved plans for a 13,000-square-foot house". A representative for the buyer said their client was attracted by the "privacy and security of the gated community" and added it was "exactly" what the buyer was looking for.

  Messi has already surrounded himself with former Barcelona team-mates Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets since moving to MLS last year, while Neymar has regularly been linked with a move to the club.
